No matching videos

[No matching videos] appears and no video is displayed. There are times when you will leave and times when you will not.

We apologize for the inconvenience! Google is in the process of making major changes to the availability of their data API, which TubePress uses extensively, and unfortunately this is causing inconsistency in the availability of TubePress video galleries. We will be rolling out a fix in the next 1-3 days to address this and will let you know as soon as it’s ready. The fix will require a few minutes of action on your part, but we will outline the process and be standing by if you run into any issues.

I just wanted to give you a quick update and let you know that we are still working on the fix, and should have it ready by tomorrow.

Any update on this? Our galleries all show “no matching videos”

@miyaboo and @jkwent, unfortunately this fix is taking longer than we anticipated and our ETA is now tomorrow. We sincerely appreciate your patience and will let you know the next steps as soon as we can.

My sincere apologies for the continued delay. We want nothing more than to have your TubePress galleries working properly and are doing everything in our power to get this fix out today!

I’m happy to report a fix is now in place. As mentioned earlier, this fix requires a few minutes of action on your part. The steps are as follows:

  1. Complete this procedure to create a Google API key.

  2. With your API key copied, paste it into the new “Credentials” section of the TubePress dashboard.

  3. Click “Save”.

Any YouTube-sourced galleries that were not displaying should immediately be visible. If they are not, please let us know and we’ll get you fixed up.

Again, we apologize deeply for this inconvenience. Unfortunately, Google’s changes to the availability of their data API left us in a tight spot and gave us no other choice but to require this new process for our users with YouTube-sourced galleries.
