"No matching videos" with TubePress Pro plugin

Sorry for any confusion; those steps are specific to Express users. Since you are using TubePress Pro (our WordPress plugin), the process for resolving the “no matching videos” error is a little different. Usually, the first thing to check would be that you’ve entered your API key in the plugin’s settings as described here. However, after putting your site into debug mode, I found the following error:

Caught error when collecting videos for a single source: YouTube responded with an error: Access Not Configured. YouTube Data API has not been used in project 120662505766 before or it is disabled. Enable it by visiting https://console.developers.google.com/apis/api/youtube.googleapis.com/overview?project=120662505766 then retry. If you enabled this API recently, wait a few minutes for the action to propagate to our systems and retry.

We would recommend clicking the “Enable” button upon visiting the link in the error message above. Also, just to make sure you’re not seeing stale data, clear TubePress’s caches by visiting this URL.

If taking those steps still doesn’t resolve the error, the next step would be to obtain a entirely new API key by completing the full YouTube API key setup procedure once more. Would you let us know how it goes?

Oddly this issue has resurfaced. Any thoughts on how to resolve?

Putting your site into debug mode (i.e. https://www.totallifecounseling.com/youtube/?tubepress_debug=true) revealed a new error. It now reads:

Caught error when collecting videos for a single source: YouTube responded with an error: Daily Limit Exceeded. The quota will be reset at midnight Pacific Time (PT). You may monitor your quota usage and adjust limits in the API Console: https://console.developers.google.com/apis/api/youtube.googleapis.com/quotas?project=1034266187673

We suggest that you follow the above link to check your quota usage and limits to resolve this (this article section has some additional information as well), but please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist!
