Tagged video not getting selected from youtube

Hello
#1 It seems that when you want to create a gallery, you come to the TubePress website, fill in the info and get the code to paste in the webpage.
#2 I tried to do that and could not get a hit for what I believe is a unique tag ( WVV-Member-vegan) with 1 video. I don’t see the 1 video in my channel in the preview page. Is there a latency period in YT to show the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxFGQk-3c1c)

I don’t think there should be any latency… When I upload a video to my Vimeo showcase, it shows up immediately in my Wix Website where I have Tubepress installed.

Hi @ak08820, thank you for getting in touch! TubePress Express currently supports tags for Vimeo and Dailymotion videos only (see the “Videos tagged with” option under Which Videos?). In your case, to retrieve a single YouTube video, I would recommend using the “This list of YouTube videos” option in TubePress:

  1. Log in to the TubePress Dashboard and create/edit a gallery

  2. In the YouTube section at Which Videos? > Video Source, select the radio button next to “This list of YouTube videos”

  3. In the text field to the right, enter your video’s ID: GxFGQk-3c1c

  4. Click the Save button to save your gallery’s changes

If there are any updates made directly on youtube.com (e.g. adding a new video to a playlist), it can take up to 12 hours to show up in your TubePress galleries, but it usually occurs much faster than this. Thanks for the informative response.

I did not want to configure individual videos. I believe that in my case the YouTube playlist option would work best, so that all the videos saved in a playlist will be selected and displayed.
